Recently the frenzy of an Image manipulation AI’s outcomes were flaunted by many on social media, including here on Linkedin and some even have the outputs as their profile images.

On the darker side of that world, the AI was stripping, objectifying and sexualizing women who were trying the app but weren't seeing the same results. Clearly biased, the women were not seeing the fun and cool outcomes the male groups were receiving from the algorithm. What might be the reason? Check some stories at the bottom of this article.

Could it be a dark practice or coding bias due to gender gap in developers?

As per Satista’s recent report for 2022, men developers (91.88% globally) “Female developers amounted to only 5.17% of all respondents, demonstrating the male-dominating reality of software development jobs” - says Satista. With that, the question remains : Who’s coding in the bias?

Generative AI has been anesthetizing human brains, eyes, ears and reasoning. It’s never too late to wake up and be aware of the psychedelic unseen digital dilemma.

Women and girls of any age, you’re precious, be careful what images you upload and feed these Large Language Learning Models (LLMs) , what apps you give permissions to on your phone and devices with cameras, the mayhem it has done to a few lives is just the beginning.

No story completes without #chatgpt : ). So here goes. On another note of AI frenzy, never before have millions freely provided data of all kinds to feed an AI like what is happening at ChatGPT. AI feeds on data, and that's what the brilliant marketeers at OpenAI have achieved when it opened the doors for people to try it ( read that as "come feed our models"). Naive experts have fed personal case files, profiles, codes, and all kinds of text forms and formats from resumes with private data, to serious crime instructions, essays for admissions, to code and what not, the list goes on.
